Easy Apple Spice Cake
A flavorful cake made with spice cake mix and fresh apples
1package Spice cake mix
2/3 c Water
¼ tsp Cinnamon
¼ c Melted butter
1 tsp Vanilla
2c Apples, peeled & slices
Blend ½ package (2 14 c) cake mix, water and egg in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed until batter is smooth. Pour ½ the butter into a greased 9 inch square pan.
Combine remaining cake mix with cinnamon; add melted butter and vanilla; toss with a fork to form a crumb mixture. Sprinkle the mixture over the butter in the pan.
Arrange 1c of apple slices over the crumb mixture.
Carefully spoon on the remaining batter and arrange the remaining apples slices over the batter. Dot with butter and sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 min or until done. Serve warm.
Delicious Apple Crisp
Cinnamon-spice apples are baked with an oat crumb crust in this simple desert.
10 c Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 c White sugar
1 T All-purpose flour
1tsp Ground cinnamon
½ c Water
1 c Quick cooking oats
1 c Packed brown sugar
¼ tsp Baking powder
¼ tsp Baking soda
½ c Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sliced apples in a 9×13 inch pan.
Mix the white sugar, 1 T flour and ground cinnamon together. Sprinkle water evenly over all.
Combine the oats, 1 c flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda & melted butter.
Crumble over apple mixture. Bake 45 min. 12 Servings.
Chicken Apple Wraps
A light wrap that only takes minutes to make!
½ c Cooked chop chicken breast
3 T Chopped apple
2 T Chopped black or green grapes
2 T Crunchy peanut butter
1 T Lite mayonnaise or Greek Yogurt
2 tsp Honey
Lettuce, flat bread or tortilla
Chop chicken and fruit. Mix in a bowl. Mix in peanut butter, honey and mayonnaise. Spoon into lettuce, flat bread or warp, roll and serve

4 Apples peeled, cored and chopped
¾ c Water
¼ c Sugar
½ tsp Ground cinnamon
In a saucepan combine apples, water, sugar and cinnamon. Cover and cook over medium for 15-20 minutes or until apples are soft. Allow to cool, mash with a fork or potato masher.
Homemade apple butter that starts with apple sauce.
2 c Unsweetened applesauce
¼ to ½ c Sugar
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
¼ tsp Ground allspice
1/8 tsp Ground ginger
1/8 tsp Ground cloves
In a small saucepan combine all the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce hear, simmer for 30-35 minutes stirring every 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat, cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Delicious bread, 32 servings
3 c All-propose flour
2 c Sugar
2 tsp Ground cinnamon
1 tsp Baking soda
½ tsp Baking powder
½ tsp Salt
2 Eggs, beaten
½ c Vegetable oil
½ tsp Vanilla extract
2 c Coarsely chopped, peeled apples
1 c Chopped walnuts
In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside Combine the eggs, oil, vanilla and apples. Stir into flour mixture. Fold in the walnuts.
Pour into two greased 8 x 4 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
